Fix Cellular Data Usage on iPhone 5 with Verizon Carrier [How to]

Step 4: Wait until the update is installed and then press the Power/Sleep button in order to turn your device off.

Step 5: After you wait several seconds with your device turned off, you may press the Power button again to turn it on. This will fix cellular data usage problem on your iPhone 5.

After you install the update and you turn your device on, go to Settings/General/About and search for the carrier option. See if Verizon 13.1 is displayed. If that is right, it means that the process was successful and you will use the cellular data option only when you want it.

The company will compensate any loss suffered by each Wireless customer because of this cellular data issue and the unwarranted data usage will not be charged on the monthly phone bill.
